Study and Teaching

The Chair of Systems Theory and Control Engineering offers courses in systems theory and control engineering for bachelor's and master's programs in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, as well as other engineering programs at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. The aim of the teaching is to provide a solid foundation in conceptual and analytical skills for the investigation and control of complex systems.

The course offerings include basic control engineering courses in various bachelor's programs, such as Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mechatronics, Biosystems Engineering, and Medical Engineering, as well as advanced master's courses on topics like nonlinear control strategies, systems with spatially distributed parameters, and machine learning methods.
