Prof. Gehring takes over Chair of Systems Theory and Control Engineering

On January 15, 2025, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nicole Gehring officially assumed the leadership of the Chair of Systems Theory and Control Engineering at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. She succeeds Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rolf Findeisen, who held the position until 2021 and has since been working at Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Prof. Gehring's appointment as professor was made by the university's rector, Prof. Dr. Jens Strackeljan, on December 20, 2024. With her expertise in control engineering and systems theory, she will further enhance research and teaching at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.
